Dreamers can finally resume to be dreamers because all Singapore Pools branches (except Livewire venues and Off-course Betting Centres) are officially reopening next Monday (22 June 2020).
As for authorised retail outlets, they will gradually reopen from Monday as well. So don’t gong gong go to an NTUC FairPrice outlet and be disappointed to realise that it’s not yet open.
How About The Draws?
4D Lottery Draws will resume on Wednesday, 24 June 2020 while TOTO Lottery Draws will resume on Thursday, 25 June 2020.
Singapore Sweep will resume with the August Draw on Wednesday, 5 August 2020.
Lottery tickets purchased for draws which were postponed after 5 Apr 2020 are valid for the respective upcoming lottery draws. You can go to singaporepools.com.sg/open for information on new Draw Dates.
If you’ve a winning ticket that you’ve not redeemed yet, the validity periods for eligible prize-winning tickets for all lottery draws, sports and horse racing events held between Thursday, 10 October 2019 to Sunday, 5 April 2020 will be extended by an additional 90 days, from the ticket’s original expiry dates.
And as usual, there would be safe-distancing measures.
There would be several new measures by Singapore Pools.
For a start, more cleaning will be done in their premises and as usual, safe distancing measures apply in their outlets. By now, we won’t need to repeat what these measures are, if not you shouldn’t even leave your house at all.
The conduct of all lottery draws (4D, TOTO, Singapore Sweep) will continue behind closed doors, in the presence of external auditors.
And here’s a major change: they will be amending the Toto Game to cascade at the second instead of the fourth consecutive draw (applicable for Draws without a Group 1 Prize Winner) effective from Thursday, 25 June 2020, until further notice. This is to prevent over-crowding at their outlets.
Currently, only online sports betting and online horse wagering (for overseas races) have resumed.
